- Volunteers use their personal vehicles to provide door-through-door escorted transportation within Santa Clara County.
- For requests without a required date, a volunteer will connect with the client to schedule for a mutually convenient date and time.
- Each transportation service is expected to be for no more than 2 hours to complete
- Visits on the opposite sides of town will require separate requests
- The transportation services will not cover :
- Recurring appointments (such as physical therapy, chemotherapy, or daily to a senior center)
- Any appointments with surgical procedures or anesthesia
